Transparent Phones May Hit The Market Soon!

A Report form Mobile Geeks says the company by name Polytron (Taiwanese based mobile company) has already got prototypes of Transparent phone to show that the possibility of reality. They already have the hardware in the product which was demoed by them.

We have come across some transparent smartphone used in movies and you might have desired one. Smartphones incorporating such technology are soon going to hit the commercial outlets in coming year and get ready to own one.

On closer inspection, it is evident that while the body of the phone and the screen are as transparent as transparent can be, opaque components such as the memory card, battery, and SIM will spoil its beauty. However, it is possible to work around at least the first two of these opaque hindrances. Instead of using a memory card, the phone can have just integrated storage like the iPhone and this can be made transparent or at least inconspicuous. Transparent batteries are already there, so that is also not going to block the view.

The issue will be of opaque SIM and possibly the only way to minimize it is to place the SIM at a location that will get masked by the user's hand as he/she uses the phone. Probably the rest of the opaque circuitry and parts such as the radio, processor, and GPU are also cleverly hidden along the edges, or the company may find a way to render them invisible.

The concept of transparent phones is not really new, but such phones have only existed as concept devices and near total transparency was never reached even in the concept designs. Many concepts in the earlier days of technology was made in to reality now and the same may imply for these transparent phones. However, if Polytron has its way, we will soon see a host of people using transparent phones.
